Dyer Sheehan Group Partners with
Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles
to Open Satellite Office in Ventura

 

(VENTURA, Calif.) – The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA) has partnered with Dyer Sheehan Group in Ventura to operate a satellite office for member realtors, landlords and property owners.

 

The new satellite office will offer convenient computer access to AAGLA members in good standing who wish to complete official property rental or leasing documents. In addition, members may access industry forms such as agreements, eviction notices, notices to quit and various addendums relating to the apartment market and property owners and managers.

 

The satellite office is at 808 E. Santa Clara St., Suite A. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and by appointment on Fridays.

Landlords at some of the larger apartment complexes nationwide are now using demand-based pricing software to set rents in certain parts of Ventura County. Dawn Dyer, president of Dyer Sheehan Group in Ventura, suspects dynamic pricing is most prevalent in the east part of Ventura County and that dynamic pricing triggered uneven rent growth last year in Camarillo and Thousand Oaks.

“There has been this sort of fits-and-starts phenomenon going on,” Dyer said Thursday at a gathering of about 50 property owners in Camarillo, where she was a guest speaker for the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles’ spring conference. For the full article, click here.

A 30-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry and president of Dyer Sheehan Group in Ventura, Dawn will speak about local rent appreciation, vacancy rates and current factors impacting valuation of multi-family investments. It was a record year of closed transactions at Dyer Sheehan Group! Transactions involving the sale of land, multi-family and NNN-leased investment properties totaled just over $71 million in sales price value,with most of the assets located in prime Southern California coastal communities.Two of the largest transactions involved properties in West Los Angeles totaling $63 million.
